The Fenaroli family of Lanciano was founded by Camillo, from Tavernola, early in the Sixteenth Century. Giovanni Ernesto tells us the purpose of the move was to take advantage of the lucrative markets, for trade from the East, fostered by the King of Naples. Note the well known musician, Fedele Fenaroli. There is a theater and a Music School in Lanciano named after Fedele.
